Working with Finch Employment
How do your fees work?
We work on a retainer basis only. Fees are agreed with you for each position, based on the role and its requirements, and the retainer is paid up front to begin the search.
What kinds of roles do you fill?
We do it all: physicians, nurses, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, rehab and massage professionals; office, reception, HR, legal, sales, supply chain, project management and executive roles; accounting, banking, insurance, mortgage, real estate and crypto professionals; software, IT, AI, engineering and architecture; plus construction, electrical, plumbing, welding, automotive, manufacturing, drivers and facilities staff.
Do you offer recruitment outsourcing and HR support?
Yes. We can act as your recruitment department, write job descriptions, advertise your openings and support your HR team through interviews and onboarding.
Can you advertise our job openings for us?
Yes. We write your job ad, promote it on the major job boards, social media and our own candidate network, and screen everyone who applies.
Which areas do you serve?
Employers across Canada. Our office is in North York, so we meet Toronto and GTA employers in person by appointment, including Vaughan, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton and the York, Peel, Durham and Halton regions. For employers elsewhere in Ontario and in Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, the Prairies and Atlantic Canada, we run the search by phone and video.
Do you recruit candidates from outside Canada?
No. We recruit people who are already eligible to work in Canada. We do not recruit foreign nationals or arrange work permits.
Can I visit your office?
Yes, by appointment only. Call 416-551-6111 or send us a request and we will book a time at our North York office.
How does the referral program work?
Know a business that is hiring? Refer them to Finch. When they sign on, you receive a referral reward.
I am looking for work. How do I apply?
Send us your resume through our candidates page. We keep it on file and will get back to you when we have something suitable.
Do you place temporary workers?
Finch recruits people who join your payroll, from a single key hire to a whole team. Tell us what you need and we will recommend the right approach for the role.
What happens after a candidate starts?
We check in with you and your new hire after the start date to make sure the role is working for both sides, and we stay available if anything needs attention.
